Procurement Advisory

Project case study

Client: City of Gold Coast

We provide clients with strategic advice on project procurement, including market sounding, collaborative approaches to contracting and new delivery models for waste infrastructure and services.

City of Gold Coast are Australia’s 2nd largest local government and are assessing efficiencies in their service delivery model across waste services.

Objective

Develop and execute a procurement strategy that will deliver service, environmental and cost benefits across the waste supply chain within the City of Gold Coast.

What we did

  • Facilitation of Early Tenderer Involvement (ETI) workshops to understand market appetite and capability
  • Financial and service delivery analysis of current business practice
  • Business case preparation
  • Assist in tender and contract documentation to issue to market

Benefits

Our activities identified how existing services could be bundled together to achieve efficiency within the waste network, realise improvements in resource recovery, build transparency in reporting and achieve cost savings across the business unit.
